How it verifies
Check the assigned gateway, not simply the strongest signal.
Gateway selection is not based on signal strength alone. The mobile app finds the gateway assigned to the entry point, signs its single-use verification request, and the gateway submits only the live interaction it observed to the server.
Single-use
An old verification request cannot be reused as a new transaction.
Part of the same transaction
The attempt, entry point, purpose, security rule, and gateway are verified in the same transaction.
Server decision
Neither the phone nor the gateway can issue a final allow decision by itself.
